Boshkung lake this past Friday

Went to Boshkung lake (Minden) this past Friday.  Caught a few lakers, mostly small (12-14") one of our guys caught a decent laker (20").  Overall though it was slow, the fish weren't biting hard and we marked a lot in the morning but not in the afternoon.

Yes welcome to the site an the Ontario forum on it . Your ahead of me as I've only been chasing panfish and eyes so far where any other year I'm hot onto the trout after Jan 1st opener .Congrats on your day ad thanks for the report . ;D

Going back to Boshkung Sat. with a dif. operator, will report.  Owner said 15" + lakers coming in this week and a few whitefish starting to show up.  Also got a Vexilar flasher, will be trying that out to jig some lakers!

Grimace:
I was at Boshkung Friday and this morning caught 3 lakers friday 15-18 ".   Got skunked this morning.

Real lite bite.
