Devils Lake snow

 Coming up the 1-6 next, Is there too snow on the lake for travel with ATV without tracks. This is bucket list trip so any advice is appreciated.

Yes for the most part the lake has too much snow for anything but tracks from what Ive been told by people who fish it everyday. If you don't mind getting stuck or beating on your truck there is some places that you can get on. I was going the same dates and canceled, just not worth the hassle.

We got there Sunday afternoon drove around the lake, and could see it wasn't going to work for us. We went to Waubay the next day, the wind was brutal for awhile and so was the fishing. Thanks for the replies. PS you can't always beat Mother Nature

We fished Bitter drove pickups out, ice is great fishing was tough, fish there didn't want bite much.
