What size frosty jigging spoon for yellow perch 1/8 or 1/16 ?

I've always used 1/16oz tipped with waxies and had success

Probably depends on where you are fishing; me in Iowa, where perch don't generally get big and fat, I'd use a 1/16.  But I wouldn't be too shy to try a 1/8, as sometimes perch are aggressive enough to hit bigger baits than you'd expect.

I use the smallest size with a dropper chain.tipped with spikes or minnow/minnow head

yeah, I got both in my box. Sometimes the dink perch and gills are a pain in the butt so I put the bigger one on to scare them away and let the bigger girls in. The bigger lure is also good for crappie, I love them in the evening. Only problem I've had with them is little fish will pick at the bait and I'll set the hook and lose my bait! swing and a miss!
