Paid $228 for that setup 2 years ago-  So yeah ist a good deal.

Deals are relative. It's not 2 years ago. New model drill to boot. 250 is a pretty good deal since that kit msrp is 299, and it's very tough to find anything under 260

As far as the fuel 5 yr warranty vs the Ridgid lifetime warranty I know many peeps who have been  been using the fuel now for 3-4 years not one has crapped out yet. But I suppose it hasnt been 5 years either! ;D

It took them 3 days to figure out nothing was wrong? Doesn't bode well for the timetable if it needs replacing or fixing in the middle of season. I would expect them to replace it on the spot with one off the shelf.

Took them 3 days to go thru the entire drill and batteries to make sure everything was good to go. I also told them i wasnt in a rush, as I was smart enough to bring it in after ice out and didnt need it. They have parts on hand to fix most issues. And if all else fails, u get a new one.

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.

I'm seeing it on amazon for $250 (with 2 5ah batteries)...I assume this is a good deal?

The deal i got came with three 5ah batteries. Plus I got a $50 gift card to northern tool for spending over $200.
