Kingfisher ice rods
« on: Dec 05, 2019, 07:35 AM »
Anyone use the Kingfisher ice rods before.  They look like nice rods and the two peice design with interchangeable poles is a intresting idea.  I just really wish they had a screw/locking reel seat and not just a bank handle.  I hate the blank handles, just one of my pet peves in this world...  Thanks

Really, no one has used or seen or even heard of these poles before?  Well then...might have to try them out for my self.

Never heard of them. And I hate taping reels on!

Never heard of then either, and when searching for them it was actually kind of hard to find. Post a review if you get one.

A solid rod blank going through the handle typically offers good sensitivity(depending on a few other variables) so I'd be curious how sensitive the rod actually is. I don't mind taping on reels, depending on your needs/wants reel seats add weight to the rod and can decrease sensitivity.
