Here is the Clam Catalog for 2020/21: https://shop.clamoutdoors.com/2020-2021-new-products.htmlMonticatgeek - do you know if Clam is expecting inventory shortages this winter?
Monticatgeek - do you know the price of the Power Gear boxhttps://shop.clamoutdoors.com/power-drive-gear-box.html
Just got word that the Clam website with all the new products will go live to the public at 9:30am CST this morning.
Monticatgeek, what is the metal rail for on the hub shelf? It doesn't really say on Clams website. I thought it was a magnet at first while looking at it on my phone earlier, but now that I can get a bit of a closer look, it looks a little like the t-bolt tracks used for mounting things on kayaks.
that is a magnet. ....I will be personally adding this stuff to one of my hubs if not all of them this year.
oh, so it IS a magnet. Pretty cool idea on mounting them to the hubs like that. Thanks.
Saw this some time ago... neat idea
I like that they sell the mounting discs separate so you can say mount a few in different places and move whatever you are using to suit your needs. Here is another company that has some interesting things...https://www.cobymanufacturing.com/ice-fishing?page=3
New Marcum sonar with mapping and lithium battery - $699https://marcumtech.com/explore-mx-7gps/
Can forget the Pursuit HD either....https://marcumtech.com/product/pursuit-hd/
Checked into that Marcum link and noticed the Pursuit. Saw that they had a cable reel system. Asked if there is the chance that it would fit on the Recon system and they said no. They said that there is a 1/4-20 stud on it, and the recon has a threaded hole for 1/4-20 - so not sure why it wouldn't work, or could be rigged. That is my one complaint about these - really wish they had the reel system. I may have to look into the threads to find the one where someone here came up with a work around.
Hmmmmm MarCum new digitalhttps://marcumtech.com/explore-mx-7gps/
Thanks. That looks very interesting. They have a few new lithium batteries and the Marcum LX7 comes with Lithium now too.
You can make or buy a 1/4" 20 stud ..or bolt or threaded rod ..
