Flathorn Lake Ice Conditions?
« on: Nov 28, 2004, 11:44 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has ventured on to Flathorn.   Little Sue froze yet?  Also wanted to discuss techniques and favorites methods for catching those toothy predators.(quick strike rigs, hooking methods, bait, types of jigs, locations, etc.)  Thanks in advance.

We fished Flathorn on Saturday.  There was lots of overflow but about 5" of ice under it.  We caught 18 slimers and probably lost that many more...flags all day.  The little Su is frozen and seems fine, although there is a little overflow there as well. I drove my 4 wheeler and my buddy drove his sled with no problems.    Hooligan and herring worked equally well.
