Does anyone know if there is ice on Lake Lowell, or CJ Strike? If so is the fishing any good?

Lowel had ice with open water and a lot of Snow Geese 7 0r 8 days ago. I was over the Caldwell Dam on Friday and most of the ice was gone. With this cold it should refreeze quick, I have never had much luck ice fishing Lowel.

I have heard no reports of ice at CJ. It does not freeze often. While the cold temps may cause a skim, I can't imagine it will be fishable. They are forecast to go back above freezing (both day and night) by Thursday/Friday and have rain in the forecast into next week and temps in the 40s. I don't think this will be one of those years.
