Fished one of the little conn river offshoot ponds in the noho meadows today, Couple flags, only one bass, decent size, One excellent fight, took all my line and I actually saw the silver of the reel, 1st time this has happened to me on the ice, good 10 minute fight to bring the leader to the hole, only to have it snap on the edge of the ice before I could see waht was at the other end. Doah! I caught a beaver through the ice once and this felt heavier, prob a big pike. Oh well... >:(Anybody goin out tomorrow?
