Dug Pond report
« on: Jan 31, 2007, 06:57 PM »
I fished it on monday from about 7:30 - 1.  I got 4 flags but no fish!  It was very slow!!! ???  In the past I have done pretty well at Dug, with some nice big rainbows, but I caught them at dusk.  This was the first time I had been out on the ice there in the morning.  Not sure if that makes a difference or not.  I will be fishing in my backyard (flint pond) on friday, hopefully I will be able to report back better results.  Tight lines to all!!

There was about 6 inches, but with the cold weather, there should be more by saturday.  I saw tracks from other 4 wheelers, so you should be all set.  This was in front of the boat ramp by the high school.  Good luck!

On cochicuate last week with another guy no flags in 6 hrs by the boat launch. not the best of spots but at the time it was the safest....I saw that some one was on it with a car last week and went through at the base of the launch but got out okay...saw some holes by the pike eastbound by the tunnel not sure if anyone had any luck there...north section is still open water..
