A good time was had by all. In attendance was myself, Russell, Jeepsw1, Ron Carr, Unoman,and ATHiker with visits from Fishercat and Buddy Ron. I think there may have been a couple others but they didn't stop by and introduce themselves.
The fishing was slow but a bass some pickerel and some perch were caught. The action seemed to be slow for every one that was fishing there today. Russell,Jeeps and myself got a visit from the smelly Kitty.
The food on the other hand was over the top. Things started off with pepermint patties for breakfast then the main course; Unoman brought a killer seafood chowda, Russell broke out the braughts and sour kraut, Ron Car with a huge crock of sausage and peppers and I slapped some shrimp on the barbie with wasabi sauce. We had enough food to feed an army.
The wind was a little brutal out there today but it was great to meet all you folks. We may have even recruited a new Shanty member (if RonCar didn't scare him off ! ). The Shanty gang were as nice to meet in person as they are here on line. Again it was a great day.
