The homeless can stay at my house as long as there's ice for me to live on!!!   I'm praying for ice as thick as a Maine school of mackies!

Well hunting season has come and gone. Normally by now I have ice fished about 5 times or more. Well to tell you the truth I couldn't take it anymore, so I loaded up the boat and went to Congamond Lake in Southwick, MA. I caught 1 fish a 6lb 26" Salmon. It just didn't seem right being in a boat in January. Well let's hope for an Arctic front to pass through soon.

If you guys moved out of the bannana belt you wouldn't have to pray for ice, we've still got 18 inches here in northern minnesota.

Easy, easy!  I know we're all bent out of shape about the weather the big man has been handing us these days, but that's no reason to go nipping at each others heels.  Although, you can bet your last shiners that the first weekend with sufficient ice is going to be like the opening day of pheasant season...NUTS!!!!

Fish it, Love it, Live it....ICE!!!!!!!!   ;)

I keep my snowpants on year-round. in the summer you can just dump ice water in them and slosh around the hut!

I found some today, small pond that shall remain nameless, since it is small and I am protective of this pond. I have pulled 3-4 lb bass out of here, and have seen someone else catch a 6lb. It was completly locked up with about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of ice. Not the best picks, but what do you expect from a $50 digital camera.
