Sorry can't help.....have not caught a walleye this year because our ice SUCKS!!!  I will tell you that I had the best  luck on a chrome and blue swedish pimple last year, before this whole global warming thing.

perch jigging rap tipped with mousies or maggots
buckshot rattle spoons (pink glow) tipped with cut bait
or a white or yellow bucktail tipped with crawler

I caught a few so far this year this year. Two of them I got on a orange glow jigging rapala w/ a minnow head placed on the treble hook. This was at first ice though when the bite was stronger. For mid-to late winter I have been using those new lindy frostee spoons. I prefer the red glow with a live minnow hooked parallel to its back letting the minnow do most of the work. Tight lines everyone

I'm real big on the Nils Master jigging shad in perch or chartuese perch pattern.  I use 'em either plain or tipped with a minnow head but either hasn't seemed to make a difference.

Untipped Nilsmaster during the prime times, tipped with a tail on the back hook and head on the front hook when they aren't quite crank'n.  Spoons with minnow head when they aren't active. And little hair jigs or Fatboys tipped with wax worms when they're really turned off. And spoons with a 5 inch dropper tipped with wax worms works well to when they come up slow and just want to sniff.  But generally, I always fish with a big swim bait or spoon up pretty high when I'm searching for fish, because you'll get fish in the area to come in and up.  If they don't bite, that's fine, because you've found a group and can downsize to something they can't refuse.  Attraction VS getting bit is definately a fine line when fish are off.  But Attraction is all you need when they're going well.

I have gained a lot of confidence this year with the jigging rap by Rapala(perch colour, tipped with a minnow head)...They seem to slam it on the pause 8)
