Either a simple set up....split shot enough to hold the bait down, a fine wire gamakatsu octopus hook size 6 and a lively minnow,
or if the water is stained I use a small swedish pimple with a glow strip and a 5 to 6 inch dropper with a hook/minnow combo.
I have one particular spot that I use leeches for bait with the pimple and dropper combo.
