Brand New Buddy Heater - rattling noise?

I got a new heater as a Christmas present and in handling it i noticed a rattle from inside. I figured there is no way that's not a bad unit so I went to return it and when i was grabbing a new one to exchange it made the same rattling noise. So i checked another one in the store and literally all 10 plus of the ones in the store made the same noise.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there any way that this is normal?

Mine makes some noise when handling it.  I honestly never gave it a second thought.  Been a solid unit for me.

I've had one for 10 years now and it doesn't make the noise. Who knows...  i have a call in to customer service to see what they say.

The newer Buddies have a improved tip-over safety switch. Santa brought me one too.

The manual says: "You can now hear the operation of the tip-switch when the unit is shaken, bounced or tipped upside down. Do not worry, this is only your tip-switch operation as it's designed"

So, there ya go! Stay warm and tight lines to ya.
