Good time for vacation
« on: Dec 06, 2005, 12:27 PM »
Well I was informed I must take my vacation before the end of the the year, I was holding out for the extra check and money.  I will have from Friday of this week to next Saturday off, so I will more than likely be ice fishing everyday.  In the process of moving, should be all in by middle of Friday afternoon and hopefully have my internet back up and running.  I had to find a new place to live because I was forced to move since my roommates girlfriend was going to be moving in, that and the fact I was tired of everything being shut off, I pay my share, why can't he, first it was the phone line, which is no big deal since I have a cell phone, then cable tv, then cable internet.  The cable internet is where I had to draw the line since I must get on iceshanty to get my fix for ice fishing and talk about those lucky Colts, until Friday I have to resort to coming up to my brothers college to use the internet in one of the computer labs, good thing it is only about 5 minutes from the house, but I feel so old sitting in here 27 surrounded by 18 year olds.

Yeah that college atmosphere is a killer for us serious ice fishermen, specially the 18 year old girl students  bouncing round while we are trying to remember how to tie palomar knots and such.

I was thinking more on the lines of a "Slip" Knot.

Is that slip on by or slip on in bye way of the ice?

What you need to do is hook up with a college educated girl with a good job so she can pay the bills while you're ice fishing so your phone, cable, and internet wouldn't get shut off anymore.

Well my college educated girlfriend took a job in North Carolina in the spring, so we don't split the bills anymore when she moved, should be in same location again sometime in the next 6 months.  I make good money working second shift hours, so I get to ice fish every morning if I want, which works out well for me.  I paid my half of all the bills, so the burden is on him now, moving Friday, so should be on the ice Saturday.

Lucky Colts?????????Honestly Crappie66,thats an insult(lol)

Okay okay, I will admit they are good and do look mighty tough, but that doesn't mean I have to like them.  As I have said before the main reasons I don't like them are Peyton Manning, whom gets to much press for never doing anything big yet, sure he sets records but those can be broken, when he wins a championship or something you can't take that away, so once he does that I will respect the goofy guy.  The other reason is there were very few Colt fans around before the success began.  I am sure some of you out there were Colt fans when they were horrible, and I am sure some of the Colt fans out there now were Cowboy and 49ers fans during their dynasties and now jump on the bandwagon. It's the bandwagon fans that I can't stand, those who don't know one bit of history on the team.
