I got an early start. I have to work the day shift tomorrow, Christmas AM so we had Christmas dinner tonight and the boy's opened their gifts from me and I got mine. Kid's will have Christmas morning at their moms tomorrow.

I had a better year than most in the past, mostly because the oldest boy is now out of school and working two jobs. He and his little brother got together and I've scored a new tree stand , a lined cooler w/ a swiveling chair mounted to the lid, a new bait bucket and a gift card to L.L. Bean's. All very nice and the best part is not a single pair of socks and no Old Spice. Great kid's and I'm thankfull for their thoughtfullness. Hope you all are as fortunate MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL

I got a Cabela's pop-up shelter, and now all I need is a little ice to go under it.

I got some deer lure and a thermos from my son. Socks from my daughter(she is so her mother). My wife and I didn't buy for each other. Donated to the local charity that gives people money for food or heat instead.

I had a good laugh this morning. My wife got me some Ice Armor mittens (that seem to be awesome!). I looked at her and asked, "How did you know to get Ice Armor?". She smiled and chuckled, "You know, I DO listen to some of what you say when you're talking about fishing!". LOL She's a keeper!

i got a showdown, tip up lights, baitnet, some jigs and lures, digital scale, gloves, house license and a new jig rod! i am pleased cant wait to get to the other side of the family!!

NO but I just got back from Beans. I got a cover for my clam and a ice screw kit.

Scored another $50 gift card from Cabelas from my daughter...

I am so happy! I'm going to get a Diawa SS1300 and a spare spool to match the one that I already have. Also got some warm fleece shirts and socks to keep me warm.

Got two new 25" IM8 UL rods with 4 BB reels, Custom Jigs and Spins Gill Pills, Techni Glow Fat Boys, Lindy Flyin lures, and Ice Armor gloves and hat. Oh the wife she's a good one. I think I'll forgo the catch and release and keep her. Hope the rest of you did as good. See you on the ice.

If you head to Cabelas let me know Scotty, I live 2 hours from there! We could have lunch and then shop some there. I have like $400.00 worth of gift cards there!

After i posted this i saw that the boy logged on but this is Dads list of goodys not nates! Well got me a couple of heritage traps ,arctic armour gloves and rigging from the boy a 150$$ gift card to cabelas plus a nice coat from there too from the wife, a subscription to uncle henrys from daugther and bunch of stuff from son inlaw and other daughter

That 'scription to Uncle Henry's could end up costing a bunch. Lot's of stuff in it you didn't know you had to have until you saw one for sale. Next thing you know you have a Gazateer out looking for Daquam and the shortest route there......

A nice pair of ski pants, duofold base layer, northwoods sporting journal subscription, and some money to put towards ice fishing stuff.

The kids and the family had a great christmas hope you all did too.
