I just saw the winning fish was a 5.4 pound walleye.

A lot of walleyes were caught this year. I caught three myself, 1 came in 4th place for second hour good for 300 dollars, the other 2 were shorts.also caught 1.4 lbs. Perch. 1st time in 13 years winning anything.
If fishing is a sport are we considered athletes?

Five in our group. Had action most of the day but didn't turn out to be money. We did pull a 41 3\4 inch pike through the ice tho.

I caught 4 walleyes all 14". The guy I was with caught a 16" but did not place. Bite dropped off quickly

We had steady action all day 7th the first hour, 3rd the 2nd hour and 6th the 7 hour plus a nice batch of perch for the frying pan :thumbsup:
