I was checking ice and jigging Thursday morning in Norway. After school drop off, while my wife was at Dr appointment. Was just using a chisel and a homemade rig with a schooley reel to check for active fish, no luck. Today i  didn't have as much time but I drilled some holes farther out still no luck. Might do a big loop tomorrow pond hoppin.

Down here in the southern part of the state, it’s quite the tease. Some places are just skimmed over or were still open a few days ago. With these next couple days temps the lakes and ponds will all be primed but then we have rain.

Very annoying as besides thanksgiving, my next day off is Monday. At least it’ll kinda reset any skim ice that got covered with all this snow and we’ll be prime for some nice clean black ice to look through.

6° here in Cumberland .Hopefully the wind is not strong enough to open the lakes and ponds that caught or skimmed over.  My jigging finger is getting anxious.

Some of the larger ponds and lakes caught last night.
