Apple Canyon Lake?

My buddy's outlaws have a place on Apple Canyon and we were granted access for a few days over the holiday.... have any of you guys or gals ever fished it in the winter.... I have not during the soft or hard water, so any help would be phenominal!  Thanks....

PS would love to be sitting in the hurricane force winds rather than being at work right now!!!!!  You all make me jealous!

My wife has family w/ a place out there too.  Also a couple uncles w/ farms not far away.  One of them has a pond with monster gils in it as I will show in some pictures below.  About 20 10" gils in an hour of fishing the pond!  All on a 2" Senko.  I do want to ice fish the main lake out there.  I've done good on the LM in the summertime the few times I've fished it.  I will make a post if I get out there this winter!
