Lake Storey updates

 Anybody been down to Lake Storey? I heard that Al's bait shop closed/ Any info would be appreciated.

Al's closed a few years ago.  He got offered a good job at the new Bass Pro Shop in Peoria, and took it.

Haven't heard anything about the ice at Storey, but it's usually one of the later spots to freeze up.

I saw something on a bait shop called taters. Anybody heard of it? That's sucks it takes so long to ice up. Looking for new spots to go. The one private place I have is good but would be nice to go to another spot.
