2 stroke auger

Heading to Cascade in feb. was wondering how many people re jet there 2 stroke auger for cascade or if its necessary. I have a jiffy 3.0 hp stx. Where I live its 2100' elevation. Thanks.

I move to Idaho from the Midwest and have run that exact same auger up at Cascade for the last 5 years.  As with any Jiffy, the biggest secret to success is keeping the carb clean.  As long as I clean the carb each season, it has worked really well at high altitude with no modification to the jets.  Good luck finding a giant on Cascade!

If you mix seafoam in the proper amount with Premium Ethanol  Free fuel . You won't have to clean your carburetor.
