Thanks TGF, I knew you Canadians would get all fired up, I don't suspect it will last long with koz&company fishing at thirty below but who knows. It's a long season.

Good Luck. bird21s we never put the scale to it but I'd say around 14lbs.

Thanks Bill Dance, The fishhouse is nice but it does limit you as to where you can fish, which I am not a real big fan of staying in one spot.
I think that it's okay to have the picture taken inside your fishhouse as long as you can see the ice hole. But if not I have pictures outside. But I would rather not show them unless I have to.

Yeah, the shanty probably not very portable. It's hard to get everything you want in a shanty. That's good you have outside pics as well, it would be a shame to get DQed on a awesome fish like that.

ruz Thank You, Your fish was a beautiful eye, and I know what your saying, sometimes where we fish we are limited to big fish of certain species. But that's why we keep going, because just maybe we will catch a real big one. Thanks again.

there looks to be some pretty nice fish being entered this year... 'cept none of them's mine...

here's a suggestion... when you take a pic of your catch, how 'bout dunking'em down the hole (tightly gripped natcherly) to wash off the snow and ice on'em... clean'em up a bit puh-leez? a few of'em look like they're battered up and ready for the fryer!
