Looks like on the webcam that there is ice out there

. Lets hope it makes lots and lots and maybe we'll have a weekend or two out there $:-\$ .

You hallucinating, the angle of the sun reflecting off the surface of the water and boats are only creating the illusion of the possibility of ice out there.

JK I hope there is lots of ice soon. I have a week off from work coming up fast.

Son of bi#$ !! The picture from about 5 minutes ago showed the resturant and big boat parked there and the whole lake was covered with ice

I'm sure it will update. Maybe if you animate it for the last 3 hrs it will show it.

hey dude...hate to be the guy to point it out but check the 3 hour animated loop...right at the end youll see a boat underway at the right of the screen

The cool thing about the 3 hour loop is seeing the sunrise on LG. The bad news is that's a pretty big boat cutting a path through the ice.

yeah that sunrise was SWEET....starts with a sliver of light then the mountain takes shape and its daytime....who has an artillery cannon?

The big boat on the screen is parked

at the Shorline resturant. It's always parked there..... Who would be out on a boat on a Thurs. morning in Feb on the lake???

I don't think so, that boat was parked there yesterday and the day before. I check it everyday!! Man that is weird, play it on slow (right click and select play speed) and it's funny looking

Right click on it and use the zoom to play it in Full screen & slow play speed, no boat out there, maybe just how the ice freezes??? Looks like whatever it is comes thru twice

17 degrees and no wind....yeah, I'm pretty sure that's ice. Hopefully this next week will lock her up nice and solid! i've never fished on The King, but I DEFINITELY want to this year!!! Bring on the ice!!

How can anyone have never fished the King!

It's sacreligous! Every icefisherman must make at least one pilgrimage...I mean one trip to lake George in their life time or they won't make it to icefishing heaven

I really NEED to get out there...I was going to go to the get-together there last year, but stuff came up, so I didn't get the chance to...

BUT...with this cold weather setting in, it looks good for locking everything up!! I can't wait to get out and fish the King with you guys!

Can I just say I HATE wind. Take a look now and run the 3 hour loop. looks like alot of it is gone.

Took a ride up most of the lake is still open however there is ice at vets park goes out the length of Sagamore Island. Open water after that. Look like it just froze last night or the night before. There was one auger hole about 4 feet out. He was braver then I was so I did not venture out to see how much was there.
