Aurora Reservoir
« on: Jan 04, 2017, 04:38 PM »
Anyone been out on the ice at Aurora Reservoir?

I'm headed out Friday morning (will be my first time fishing there) if anyone wants to join?

I am new to Colorado and am looking for places to fish. I live in Parker so Aurora Res is a close choice. Last Saturday I tried out Boyd (caught a 4 small trout) and then on Monday I made the trek to Hattie in Wyoming (caught nothing). Left Hattie around noon because I didnt mark a single fish and stopped at Granite (caught 9 trout and 1 perch [10"]) on the way back.

If anyone is looking for a fishing partner let me know!

Welcome to the website.
We're born, we live for a while, and then we die.  Sounds like a good reason to go ice fishing.

Seen on another site were a guy reported fishable ice in the back of Senac cove. 4 to 5 in. Last weekend. Haven't had a chance the look for myself. Hopefully this weekend

Would think it's getting close.  I think I'll wimp out and go to Boyd but would prefer aurora.
