Three of us fished Crawford today for crappie, perch and trout. The three of us finished with around 40 perch, 60 crappie and a dozen trout. We fished by the dam in the morning in 20 to 35 feet of water and had a good bite with Ratso's and Gill Pills for a couple hours, then the fish seemed to disappear. We caught a few more, but moved to the west day area on the southwest part of the lake for a slow afternoon bite, then a fast and furious last hour before dark on lots of 8-10" crappie and 6-8" perch. Black tungsten jig with half a waxie tipper for the best bite this evening, 26 FOW. Great warm day and Crawford is a pretty place to spend a day.
