Walkable Landings w/in 2 hours of Appleton
« on: Sep 06, 2022, 02:40 PM »
I am looking for suggestions on lakes within 2 hours of Appleton where the landing is fairly easy to walk out.  I am not looking for anyone's honey hole.  My father-in-law is suffering from brain cancer and his gait is slow and his balance is not great.  However, he loves to ice fish.  I know about Shawano (Cecil Landing), Asylum Bay in Oshkosh and Black Otter in Hortonville.  Am I missing any other obvious easy walking landings?   Thanks in advance!

Big Silver near Wautoma for one.  East end, Foxtail bay and West end near intersection of 73 and 21.
Shut up and fish.
