How's the ice at Summit with all the wind?

Has the lower temps helped or is the wind killing the ice?

Summitt ice is fine....4" + The wind is the biggest problem.  My and a buddy were in a Clam2000 most of the day.  We decided to leave when the wind blew us about ten feet off of our holes.

Had a descent day with 20+ keepers.

Newbyonice, nice to meet you. I think I will try again in the morning where you were. Will bring anchor. Wind is to be the same or worse - if that is possible. Boomer

I bought the clam ice anchors that screw into the ice.....tried them today for the first time. Took a few mintues to get them into the ice but it was worth it. The shanty stayed in place the whole time.
