Spring break is coming soon for me (beginning March 9th) and I plan on getting as much ice fishing in as possible. I live right near Sebago and have high hopes that the lake will still have enough ice to fish throughout the week. Was back home the weekend before the derby and there was close to 18 inches, but this weather has been atrocious with no signs of stopping. Unbelievable how bare and soupy the ground is up here in Orono and has me worried that my opportunity to fish the lake will be gone by then. What are everybody's thoughts about how it will hold up? only looking to go out from the station headed out towards Indian. Whats this weather done to it so far? Be disappointing not to fish it, some of the best cusking happens around this time.
