Long Lake Oakland county

I'm going to be on Long friday afternoon if anyone wants to join me.
I'll be the guy on the point due south of the boat launch.

Has anyone been out there lately?  I want to know if the launch area is safe because of that stupid aerator?

If you don't have any luck on long,You can go across the
street to cooley lake there's a 40 foot hole there.
In the past I have done pretty good on gills there.
I can't give you the spot ,You have to find it. Good Luck!

No walleyes in cooley lake but thanks for the tip.

if your going on friday..you probably wont be able to get past the boat laucnh ..its ok now..but after a warm day yesterday...really warm today..and some what warm tommorow..it will be toast again

supposed to freeze at night.  I'll just have to check it out.

im flat out scared to go out on cresent..its way way way to inconsistent for my taste..that dock is insane out there.its kept that whole east bay unsafe..and those breaks and canal mouths are my favorite spots..but im not dyin over one or two walleyes.....im bumbed out about long..but even with freezing nights..im not sure youll be able to get out...i hear there doing really good on lake sherwood...hint hint..(its private..but its worth a parking ticket right now) i didnt tell you that though....id take you out on friday but im goin to the toby keith concert and will not be able to go...

I don't even know where Lake Sherwood is. 
I guess I'll be hitting Pontiac again.  No big deal I'll go for some more crappie.
I know the ice out there is good and I know exactly where to go. 
Long just has such a better fishery for everything.

at least I can get out.  This flex time thing we have here at work is working pretty good to get me on the lake.

id still check..you might be able to get out on it..but just have a back up plan..lake sherwood is in commerce about a few miles away from huronvalley hospital...its stocked with walleye(brood stock)..there big..hungry and only minor pressured...

use the doctors office on union lake rd.(profesional building.not sure its a Dr.'s)...that will be ok.

I heard someone talking about Lake Sherwood walleye before.  I had no idea it was stocked.
I'm still going to give Long a shot. 

Can you get access from that beach?

yeah..i just park in that prof.buildings lot..and pretend i just dont care..i just start walking and dont look back..ive never really got much heat from anyone about it..better fishin on that end anyway...

If friday is anything like today we should have some good fishing.  Cold front is supposed to come in saturday.
