Yep, no longer a virgin!  I'm still a little chapped about it but the 20+ perch I took home help ease the pain.  Lots of small ones.  Sweedish pimp with waxies was the most consistant, suspended fish came and went so vexilar was a huge help(as always)  Super safe ice, very windy out there for those you that have never fished it, BRING A SHACK regardless of weather inland.

Over the past few years ,I've lost 2 tracphones.On my 3rd. one now,& there have been times when I have been out fishing,I wanted to send it down the hole! Only because I get tired of people calling me ,wanting to know if I'm catchin fish.Tracphones are cheap,but I refuse to pay big bucks for something I dont really want anyways.They also work pretty good.

Fell through a lake last year, phone came back to life two days later.  Last week, dropped it in my minnow bucket, thought she was a goner for sure.  I plugged it in when I got in my truck, and it was working by time I got home.  Lucky me!!

If so there is a brand new ice saw standing on end in the narrows. Only cut the hole it went in so I guess it was used. LOL It was sitting on a folded flip shanty along with a very expensive camera when the wind decided to FLIP the shanty. The camera was rescued before it sank but was ruined.

The saw was located the next day with a camera but the opening of the teeth were pointed up.  It could not be snagged an retrieved.

I have a nice st croix ice rod in George lake with a tungsten jig and Tiny 20 reel on it.  Possibly connected to a pike.  Watched it go down the hole as I was drilling more holes.  Rookie mistake, left it on the bucket.  Expensive mistake.

My wife dropped my old Razor phone in the Betsie River - she pulled it out quickly. Took about 3 days before it recovered and dried out.

At Walmart this winter, I found a waterproof bag to put a smartphone in.  It has a lanyard to keep around your neck.  The coolest part is that you can still use the phone while it is in the bag!

I spent the cash on a lifeproof case for my iPhone, the directions say to put the case together and test it before you actually put your phone in it and use it. It was submerged for an hour in water when I took it out bone dry.  I also purchased the life jacket for it, it goes around the case and makes the phone float!!!  Works like a charm.  Takin it out on the ice for the first time in a couple hours will post pics later.
