Why don't they have the show earlier?  Aren't most of us going to be on the ice that weekend?  I know I will.
How would you play today if you knew you couldn\'t play tomorrow?

Yes it is a long drive but it is worth the trip.  We attended the show a few years back and we drove from New York to get there and i would do it again if i had the chance.   After a couple days of the show i was off to MileLacs  to try some new jigs.  They did work on the perch .No eyes that day but we fished in Wisconsin on they way home and there i caught a eye.     Looking forward to some Pict's Skipper. Thanks

Stop by and say HI! I will be there every day of the show.

Do you guys know how difficult it is to spend three days in the icefishing gear mecca without spending your whole years wages!?

Pray for my strength.... ;D

Anybody going to stop by the Versa (Marcum) booth?  If so, can you please ask them if they are ever going to make a DVR for the 820 & 825C's.  They never had anything else posted about it.  I called the
last year about it, & they said there was one in the works, but that's the last I heard.  Thanks!

Skipper, if you are going to have live updates from the show you should have all IS members stop by the booth and then you could post screen names of members as they stop by.  "Wicked_1 just stopped by and gave us a load of crap" type thing.

I'm planning on going. I'll probably see you there. I've been taking my 2 small kids for the last couple years. Any idea where I can get coupons for admission? I have one, but my neighbor is looking to go too. Being a big time sponsor, I figured you'd have some pull.

Thanks.

I have never been down to the show but plan on attenting Friday.  I was curious if how parking works down there and how expensive the ramps are?  I am also in the market for a new shelter, do they have a loading area near by?

The Rivercenter ramp that is on Kellogg blvd next to the MN Science Museum varies its price during the day. I think average is about $12, they have it clearly marked at the entrance. There is another ramp just a block north of the Excel energy center, It may be cheaper. There is a gravel lot that they park cars on in between that ramp and the Excel center too. Sometimes they open up the Traveler's Insurance Building's lot for public parking on the weekends too, it is usually $5 to $8 there.

The River Center has a loading dock very near the show floor if you buy a large shelter. If not, the guys from the stores will cary the stuff out to your car for you. I bet I saw the guys from Reed's make 500 trips to the parking ramp last year with augers and shelters.

Because Jack Frost has chosen not to cooperate, I'm cancelling my plans to go swimming/fishing this weekend.  I'll probably have to show up and blow some money on stuff I really shouldn't be buying.

If anyone wants to park on the cheap, you can park on any one of the side streets off West 7th from Jefferson all the way to Victoria and pay $1.00 or $1.50 to MTC it down there.  If you don't buy anything big like a portable or an auger, you should be just fine to ride back.  I'll probably be meeting a few friends at Joe and Stans for a Pig's Eye or two before heading down to the show.
How would you play today if you knew you couldn\'t play tomorrow?
