I wanna hear about this in a 10" version! Want to see what the cost is.

I believe in other threads more information has come out. There is no 10in model from the sounds of it. The pictures of the 6in and 8in that were posted didn't show any guide point on the units. It looks like the "pistol" auger is basicly a flat blade mora auger. The pics look like they put plastic auger flights on a hexagonal shaft, then used a black blade mount to mount the shaver blades on. While it might be a touch lighter then a mora hand auger, it looks to cost about $180 more. ($40 8in mora vs $220 8in pistol). Just a heads up, but if you are looking for a 10in flat blade shaver look at the 10in auger bit for the ion it runs $150 new.
