Lake of woods trip completed

Just got home from lake of the woods. Stayed at Zippel Bay in their sleepers. Seemed like alright people and decent resort from shore. Thought the sleeper was outdated and needed major updating. The floors were getting rotten and felt like I was gonna fall through when I walked on them. We did the shallow water sleeper, deep water dayhouse. Caught a few in shallows in morning and night nothing specular. Mostly small ones. Did decent in deep water. Of course last half hour we pulled up a 19.25” and a 19”. Biggest fish by far of trip. Most were 10-15”. We cleaned enough for a large meal for my dad brother and myself. We also brought home 17 fish or so. My dads first time in a sleeper and I don’t think he’ll do that again. Too cramped for him. Said he’d get a cabin on shore and go out to day house if he does it again. I think it’s part of the experience though. I like it.
