I just cant wait until the lakes are froze over!!  Who else is like me?  Any ideas when the lakes will freeze over? I hope it is soon!!

It all depends on were you are and how big the water is I am nomally on the ice mid december but I wait untill I know for sure that it is very safe.    TJ Bauer

I am from Starbuck and I fish mainly Minnewaska/Reno in the winter.  Yesterday when the wind was blowing like mad I look at the lake and there was actually slush forming around the edge on the Glenwood end.

The place where I work is right across the road from the lake in Glenwood and let me tell you that really sucks when there is good ice and you can't go but you see tons of people out there fishing.

I would say that the ice will probably be here mid Dec as usual.  Supposed to be in the mid 60's this weekend.
