Snow started bite stopped

Out this morning 2 trapper 10-20 FOW slaying big whites and yellows 8:00 snow started hard and the bite shut right off for rest of the day

Not surprised.  Fish biting in the rain/snow is a myth imo
when hell freezes over, I'll be icefishing there too!

Same...I had a few half-hearted bumps when the snow started...then nothing

I've was on an Vt. (8 trap) lake after lakers/salmon when a squall came though.It was so bad we couldn't see more than one tip up. We  had only had 3 flags all AM and when the snow let up we had 12 out of 16 flags up! The two of us took home two nice salmon and two nice lakers,all the other fish were  released for another day. IMHO a RAPID barometer drop gets fish to feed for a short time.

I was out in the snow on Saturdy, good bite all morning in the snow till about noon when it started raining
