Big River Trout
« on: Apr 22, 2020, 09:46 AM »
Does anyone know if there is road access into Jet, Snell, and Terra Lakes? I know Ted's lake requires a snowmobile to get in, but is it the same at these other lakes? No snowmobile and thinking of giving it one last hurrah.

Thanks

Define close - I wouldn't try humping all my ice fishing stuff from road. As for Jet, good luck finding it without GPS coordinates. There used to be a trail but after the logging it's all but gone.

It looks like there is a road going into Snell and Jet, west from Highway 922. I am assuming there would be no truck access down this road then? Sled/walk-in from highway?

Jet is sled/ATV/walk in all the time for the last mile, Terra is for the last 400 yards or so even in summer.  No Truck access whatsoever. Can Drive to Shnell most summers if the road isn't torn to crap or flooded and rutted. Teds and Shnell are by far the easiest to Access of the 4.

I haven't been by there this year but I highly doubt the "road" into snell is plowed - unless they are still logging beyond. If it was (is) then it would be easy access. The lake is just off the "road".
