I also forgot to mention for the people that have not attended this in the past....

It is held on the North end of the lake off of Vitale Park!
There is a large parking lot there and if we have an over abundance of people, then I have alternative parking arrangements with a local lake property owner as well!

2 questions... Who the heck is Frylock?
And does anyone have a wheeler or snowmobile they will be bringing...
We will need some help transporting the grill and possibly a few other items!

I'll be there ,99% sure that's the end of my vacation have the last week of in feb just to ice fish for the whole week and conesus was 1 of the place's i plan on going . so i'll save the best for last 3/3 see you there

Conesus Lake Gathering
North end of lake off Vitale Park
Sunrise to ? (All fish must be checked in by 3:00pm to qualify)
No entry - All prizes donated
After the final weigh-in at 3:00pm, if there are any prizes left over they will be given away as "Door Prizes" in a free raffle. When you get to the lake, stop by the "The main Hut" (there will be a sign) for a free ticket for this possible raffle.

Catagories for Free Derby
(to be judged by length, unless I find a good quality scale for panfish!)

Largest Pike
Largest Tiger Muskie
Largest Walleye (special prize)
Largest Bass
Largest Perch
Largest Bluegill
Largest Crappie

Radios
We will all be using Channel 7 on FRS radios. Please, no privacy codes.

It is best to bring your own bait to the get together. There may be a possiblilty, if there is enough interest, of bait being available on the ice.

I would like to ask that each of you that are coming to please bring your own beverages of your choice. None will be provided! We decided this would be easier so that there will be no hassles with drink preference and so that every individual will be responsible for their own empties!
There will also be plenty of garbage bags around the area that we use, however I still stress… CARRY IN, CARRY OUT! If you need a garbage bag please find me, oakorchardfishking and I will be more than happy to give you one!

All welcome!!! (I dont reccomend driving hundreds of miles though, like the original plan was!)
This is not in any way connected to the original discussion of the big party that was being organized in the fall.
This also is in no way connected to the name Iceshanty.com

All I ask is that this thread stays at a minimal size... do not blow it up with posts about the gathering!

Im still hoping now that my baby is born i no longer need to be within an hour of home . If i can make it will a quad be usable or is it too slushy? anyways sounds like fun hopefully I will be able to make it

Congrats on the little one !!
If the current weather holds you will be good for the quad !
If you do bring it though , get to the ice from the far east side of the park because they aren't allowed in the park area .
Some people do take them in there but the Sherriff and D.E.C watch for them and from what I hear they will ticket and not warn !!
