There is none , you need permission from a land owner to access it ,

Checked the north end of jamesville around 2 PM.  Didn't have a ruler but ice was at least 2 inches thick maybe 2.5.  Felt pretty solid but I am a small guy (140 lbs).
Too bad it is going to rain tomorrow.  Might give it a shot early in the morning before the rain starts up

The lake will probably open up by the end of today, already open spots showing.

On my way over to West Eaton I drove by Eatonbrook. Pond had ice, lake was open a little everywhere. I've never been on that pond, but it looks suspect to me. I would not go on it.

Be Safe

Just moved north from the Syracuse area. Typically fish various ice south of the city depending on conditions but with the proximity now to Oneida I could be on the ice with in 10 min from the house. I have never fished the lake before though. Anyone want to throw a guy a bone and let me know where typically the lake freezes over first and a rough starting point for exploration?

Appreciate the knowledge.

Checked Caz earlier and walked out and chopped thru 3" in 2' of water. Another 10' out was about an inch thick. Got the hell out of there quick.

Went to eatonbrook to check the ice, probably 10' out maybe an inch. That warm day killed that ice but at least it's still locked up.

Drove by Erieville, not a soul out there.

Drove by Eatonbrook, two guys on the north arm.

I personally plan on giving it a little more time...
