Ice Creepers

Always bring them with you, end of story.  Posts saying "Make sure to take creepers/spikes" should be common sense. Especially after a warm up and refreeze.

I hear ya.. I often put that in any reports I make... I ussualy  have a pair on standby but I have gone a few times and wished I had them..I have an older pair of boots I thought about putting hex head screws in the bottom just for slick ice conditions, this may be a good time to test it out...

I do not bother with ice cleats I have little hex head screws from a set of dirt bike ice tires that are short enough so they dont pass through my sole of my boots and they work great but if you have a softer sole boot you will loose a few by the end of the day. But I can run acrossed glare ice and stop on a dime they are so sharp and provide so much traction!

Forget your basic creepers ......  do it right   ;D

I brought these one time when my cheapy creepers broke and have used them ever since
Goin' where the wind don't blow so strange,
Maybe off on some high cold mountain chain.

I've been using Korkers the past 12 years, they work well and are comfortable. They are always with me when I'm on the ice.

My boots have little cleats built right in.  You just have to flip them open for walking on ice.  They work great.
