probably going to be awhile for the tribs to open up. we will see dying to try out my new 9 ft 6 inch salmon/steelhead rod. checked some tribs today they are froze solid. those were really small pike. maybe nitzer will do better this weekend. let some steelhead by when the tribs open up so i can practice with my new rod. lol

I will either be across my camp towards the last few campsites, or down in one of the back corners. all depends on if my buddy brings his snowmobile

LA Chute is open at the falls in Ticonderoga. I went there today. Nothing. Putnam Creek is open in spots. I fished a couple spots today as well. Nothing. I went and looked at Boquet below the fish ladder a couple days ago. It was still completely ice over.

well, weather was great Friday and Saturday. caught a lot of fish, but nothing big. well, big to me anyways. couple perch were slobs. 2 of them would have easily took 1st place in the brag n tourney. (didn't have badge on me and went straight to frying pan within minutes) hahahaa. heres what we got

5 - 6 pike - (one fatty, but not huge) missed a good one at the hole.
8-10 bass - 2 nice 3lb smallies.
12-15 jumbo - 1 absolute slob!!!!
1 brown bullhead
jigged up hundreds of perch jigging and 1 small crappie.

I took a pic of the smallmouth, some perch, and bullhead, but my digital camera is messed up. I will try and figure it out and post if I can. other than that, nothing was picture worthy besides our drunk a$$es !!!!!!!!!!!!

skunked on tigers. the very elusive fish. the last part of your report was expected but at least you had fun on the pond. when season opens back up you will have plenty of time to show me that tiger pic. lol.
