I would get ahold of Muck and get them replaced. I have not had a problem with muck boots EVER and I have been wearing them for work and play for years and years now..

This will be the 4th season with my Muck Arctic Pros with zero issues. Warm, comfortable, highly recommended!

For cracking/splittng issues I would suggest rubbing your boots with saddle soap. Used to use it on my softball glove. Even though it was leather, I can't see why it wouldn't work on rubber. Some type of wax or spray silicone might work too. Anything to keep them pliable  should work. Certainly wouldn't hurt.

Sweaty feet?? Try 100% poly propylene socks and then wool. Used this combo when doing winter camping and you were in your boots all day long. The poly pulls the moisture from your feet and the wool dissipates it.

Kamik Hunter rubber boots. $60. mine are 8 years old and have been through it all. Insides are now deteriorating, but the boot itself is still watertight.

Mucks are the way to go for me. Going on my 7th season with my Arctic Pros and can’t be any happier with them. Still look new minus a 1/2” auger mishap on the upper. Whoops.....
