Friend Greg worked half a day and wanted to get on the ice. told him club should still be good. 6-10 inches of ice but soft. a single spud chop went down a good 4 inches. he doesn't get a chance to fish much so i let him take all the flags. he caught a few dink bass and blob perch.  Of course, the tilt farthest away had all the flags, the others were glued down.

Today is my last day - then kayak, rivers, wachusett - still some ice around, but fading fast, and I’m ready for the changeover

Where you started the season or there closer spots?  If I remember correctly, I think we were tied at one laker a piece on December 16th.  You've since gone on to catch about 40 times more than me.
