and now for something completely different.

If a group of alewives is " alewives", is one of them and alewife?

"You only get one chance to make a good impression", and you blew it.

Using the word "retarded" is offensive, and shows your lack of compassion, and intelligence.

X2

Look pal I'm an accountant not biologist, but I try to think objectively about things such as the food chain. I know for a fact that they will indeed compete for the same food source and my thought process is that if a walleye and a trout compete for the same food source, the walleye will win every time... The walleye get much bigger and have bigger teeth? Also, When the walleye get big they will eat up juvenile trout... Plus walleye are more of a warm water species and trout are cold? Maybe they can live in peace, but coming from someone who knows nothing it seems like a bad idea...

Also starting a sentence with" Look pal " to a shanty member doesn't sound respectful either.

Tom and Jigg.. C'mon guys seriously?? Let it go... I already apologized for using the word "retarded". Honestly didn't think I would take this much heat for the word usage and quite frankly think its ridiculous at this point. I wasn't referring to a person with special needs. But If I hurt your feelings or your wife's children's feelings I am truly sorry.

I wish sawbellies were available in the winter,  the best bait for big trout.

Bait shop in westchester over the line today was charging $13 bucks for tested shiners, that is more then I paid for sawbellies in the summer.

They'd be better off to stock East Twin with walleye seeing the majority of big browns are gone. Seems all you catch in that place now are small trout and pan fish. Even the yellow perch are in decline.

Sounds like some people need to get on some ice and stop worrying about all this drama.
