Hit Long Pond today. Its close and has some good bass in the summer.
Well we fished with quite a few other guys who were already out. For the North End it was a real pick.
We finished with 3 bites and 3 perch. Plus one jigged up.
The others mostly left due to V slow action.
Lucky for me the 3 boys kept busy and did not once complain about the cold. Tough guys.
Ice was 6 inches but was making water all day. That place must have some strong springs. Holes would freeze and cap off, but each check would flood the snow on top.
