Norhland.
« on: Jan 14, 2011, 08:07 PM »
Just spent $50+ at Norhtland...8 jigs for that much money..yikes.

2 glow perch fish fry minnow spoons
2 gold perch fish fry minnow spoons
2 clown puppet minnows
2 buckshot rattlin spoons

compared pricewise to my jiggin raps and swedish pimples....I hope I catch at least as many fish with these bad boys....
I bought two of each because usually when one is hot, you lose it  ;D

any experience, words, wisdom on my choices is appreciated...but man....thats a lot of bread for some jigs.

one good thing is that we dont tend to lose too many jigs ice fishing.

BUCKSHOTS!!!..are awesome here for walleye and perch. caught on minnow traps also. Not a bad way to spend $50.

there are suppliers other than Northland that carry their jigs and spoons.....probably could have saved yourself 15 bucks buying elsewhere......but the products you did buy are quality and they produce fish.  Good Luck with them !

I don't know about the fish producing part yet...they've been kind of tight lipped with constant weather changes.   ;D  I've already got like about a dozen Fish Fry Minnow Traps and about a dozen spoons and moxie minnows.  However that simple Mimic Minnow of theirs is outproducing alll these hard metal lures.  Soft and chewy is sweeping it all so far for me.  Their forage minnow has been a staple lure for me.

Waterworlf,

Not at the comp now or i'd post a link. But watch their promo video they have, shows footage of what changing the eye does to it. Pretty sweet. Gives it different dives.
