Reverse jigging
« on: Jan 24, 2016, 07:24 PM »
Try setting your presentation on the bottom of the lake, wait awhile, then start jigging up. Works more often than not on tough days. Just one of many bluegill games.

Must be a difference in terminology.  If I say reverse jigging, it would mean to me to jig from a mid water column and work my jigging into deeper water.  That's why a baitcasting reel or fly reel is more effective for this method.

If I was jigging with my lure on the bottom, it would be a system of pounding the bottom.
