Last Time Anyone Ice Fished Harvey's Lake

I drove around Harvey's Lake yesterday on the way home from Lake Jean.  There was a skim of ice around the shore for maybe 20'.  Otherwise all open water.  When was the last time anyone ice fished Harvey's Lake?  I can't recall if there was ice even 2 years ago when we had a good winter.

the last time i fished harveys lake was about 4 or more yrs ago and caught a few trout and pickeral but that take awhile to freeze usually a late lake

same here...only got a few perch and didn't bother heading back even though it still had good ice

I havent fished it since I was a kid, and it was loaded with Smelt that was ba WHILE ago !!!!

we icefished it two years ago sam...the place is a GEM in open water, but Ive yet to figure it out on the hard water. Best I can do there are a few perch...like 2 or 3...but they are nice (>11"). We do extremely well there for all species in open water season and I think thats the reason why I keep torturing myself to ice fish it!

open water fishing harveys lake is one of the best open water lakes. since i live ten minutes away and almost all my friends have docks its the only place i fish basically in the summer. their are certain spots that are garenteed to hold fish in the summer. bass fishing in the summer is like taking candy from a baby. flip a senko under a dock and your gonna have one on. i hay try ice fishing here this year.

Thanks guys!  I wasn't sure if it was fishable two years ago or not.  It always looks tempting, if only it had ice.
