Going to give it a try next week as my first open water trip for this year 2024. Anyone been there yet this season? Used to do well early after ice out. I know that they have been getting dinks from there in years past. Hope they grew up a bit. Either way it will be a blessing to get the boat out.

I know. I went late last year and caught only smalls. Used to get nicer ones early on. As soon as this weather returns to stable for a few days I am going to go there. Probably won't be till April.
