Did your example of how to sign up count as you signing up? Or do you have to sign up again! lol Also, if shawn doesn't sign up we can mock him when he can't enter any fish!!!

Thanks guys the walleye thing is rough out there but I have got some nice ones on the ice in the past. It is hit or miss and swartswood has been dropped 5 feet this year. Good luck guys

i know this is off topic with the online tourny but are we in for possibly making a get together this year? and what would the possiblities be for lake choices?

If there is Ice we will do a get together. Usually Doug and Shawn will propose a couple of lakes and take suggestions and then pick one based on popular vote along with ease for everyone from all the state to get there, safe ice conditions with plenty of room for everyone, and enough parking for everyone. I believe we normally shoot for February when there is the best chance for safe ice. I'm sure Doug will post about this when it gets a little closer.

Once we start seeing safe ice at several lakes we'll start posting possible locations, dates, etc. under Ice Fishing NJ section.

no entries yet??? id have 3 but i took my pictures improperly! didnt know i couldnt have two cards (isnj card, normal shanty card) in one picture and i reread the rules when i got home. bummer

so are you able to enter a fish in both the nj only tounry and the ice shanty one as well? and only have to put one card in the photo at a time?

Exactly. Take the pics with only the NJ card. Take the pics again with only the Main tourney card. We're trying to keep the NJ tourney separate from the main tourney.

I hope to be posting my psuedo winners on the NJ board only since I did not enter either tourney this year. The pics, if I have any, will be enjoyed I'm sure though. I didn't enter since I don't know how much ice fishing I will actually do this year. I'm certain it'll be less than previous years though. I also need to purchase a waterproof camera since my phone is the only real source for photos I will have. The real camera will get damaged if I bring it out in the cold. One was ruined about 3 years ago because of the condensation.

It's a "sign up" deadline. Trying to have everyone signed up prior to the tourney beginning .. which is Jan 1st each season.
We have no way of knowing from year to year when we will have safe ice.
